*** IMPORTANT MESSAGE ***
|
Dear Subscriber, Something to remember before you subscribe. Sometime in the future you might discover that you're no longer receiving HerpDigest. This is not because HerpDigest has folded, but because of some of the unique problems of email. Whenever I email out an issue of HerpDigest, some of the newsletters are returned to me as, for example, either "undeliverable," "the email box is full," "name not recognized by the server" or there is a "permanent error." Most of these messages reflect temporary glitches of the servers used by the subscriber. These subscribers I keep on the mailing list and they usually receive the next issue of HerpDigest. I only take a subscriber's name off HerpDigest's mailing list when I receive a "permanent error" message. The problem here is that only 75% of the time that message is correct. So if you suddenly find yourself not receiving HerpDigest for say three issues, try to resubscribe or contact me at asalzberg@herpdigest.org, and I will look into it. Thanks for your patience. Allen Salzberg P.S. The message "The email box is full" usually means that the total of the message in your email program, the delete, sent, in boxes, together are over the limit that your email box can hold. A regular editing of your email will prevent this. |
